Kelly Wert has been helping clients ditch unwanted hair for good since opening The Laser Loft in 2005, and with over 20 years of experience in laser hair removal and electrolysis, she's become one of the most trusted names in the field across Central Ohio. She and her team have helped more than 10,000 Columbus-area clients achieve smooth, lasting results — and that track record speaks for itself.

Kelly's expertise is backed by serious credentials. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Penn State before completing her Cosmetic Therapy training — which covers the full spectrum of skin care and hair removal treatments — at the Columbus Medical Electrology and Skin Care Institute. She went on to earn specialized certification in light-based laser techniques, keeping her skills sharp at the cutting edge of the industry.

Her passion for the field goes beyond the treatment room. Kelly has served as Vice President of the Cosmetic Therapy Association of Ohio, where she helped develop and teach continuing education courses specifically in laser hair removal and electrolysis. She's also served as an exam proctor for the Ohio State Medical Board and works as a legislative liaison to the Board — championing the safety standards and ethical practices that every client deserves.

Marshelle Elsass has been a cornerstone of The Laser Loft team for over 6 years, and her clients wouldn't have it any other way. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and genuine commitment to her clients, Marshelle brings a level of care and thoroughness to every treatment that keeps people coming back time and time again.

Marshelle is a Cosmetic Therapist certified through the Ohio State Medical Board, with a focus on laser hair removal and electrolysis — two of the most effective, long-lasting solutions for unwanted hair. She graduated from The Ohio Medical Electrology Institute and went on to earn her laser certification from the Southeastern School of Electrology and Laser in Kentucky. She's laser certified by Lutronic on the Clarity II laser device. — one of the most advanced platforms available for safe, precise hair removal across a wide range of skin types. She's also a licensed nail specialist through the State of Ohio Cosmetology Board, bringing a truly unique blend of credentials to her work.

Before joining The Laser Loft, Marshelle built an impressive career in the nail industry spanning back to 1991. Her craftsmanship and client care earned her the title of Favorite Manicurist of Oakland County, Michigan, and she was recognized in both 2001 and 2002 in Style Magazine and on Fox 2 Detroit. With over a decade of experience, Maddie has also spent years mentoring and educating fellow estheticians — a testament to the depth of her knowledge and her genuine love for the craft. Certified Nurse Practitioner

Paige Ingledue brings over 15 years of clinical nursing experience and a passion for helping people look and feel like the best version of themselves. Originally from Cleveland, she made her way to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University and later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston.

Since 2019, Paige has focused exclusively on aesthetic medicine. She specializes in neurotoxins like Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, lip flips, laser skin resurfacing, RF microneedling, and SkinPen microneedling. Her surgical nursing background gives her a uniquely precise, detail-oriented eye — especially when it comes to facial balancing, where she takes a thoughtful, whole-face approach to creating results that look natural and harmonious rather than overdone.

That commitment to her clients doesn't go unnoticed. Paige was recently recognized by Allergan — the makers of Botox — for achieving the highest customer retention rate in Columbus. Cosmetic Therapist & Licensed Esthetician

Marley Barren is a certified Cosmetic Therapist — meaning she's trained and certified in the specialized field of laser hair removal and electrolysis — and she brings a well-rounded set of skills to every client she sees at The Laser Loft. She graduated from the Cosmetic Therapy Training Center and holds certification from The Society of Clinical & Medical Hair Removal in both Electrology and Laser Hair Removal, giving her a thorough understanding of the science and technique behind truly effective, lasting hair removal results.

When it comes to laser hair removal and electrolysis, Marley takes a detailed, personalized approach to every treatment. She is a certified laser technician on the Clarity II by Lutronic — one of the most advanced platforms available for safe, precise hair removal across a wide range of skin types — ensuring her clients get the best possible results with every session.

But Marley's expertise doesn't stop at hair removal. She's a Licensed Esthetician through the State of Ohio Cosmetology Board and a graduate of the Aveda Institute (2020), as well as a Certified Permanent Makeup Artist. She's an expert in custom skincare, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and lash lifts, and she stays constantly ahead of the curve when it comes to new ingredients, techniques, and skincare technology.

Medical Director

Dr. Brian Luft, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). He has over 25 years of experience in Internal Medicine, and nearly a decade in laser cosmetic procedures. Dr. Luft completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Affiliated Hospitals of Canton, Ohio. During his residency he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Luft as has also served as Chief of Staff for Genesis Health Care Systems in Zanesville, Ohio and practices medicine at Genesis PrimeCare Physicians.
